Well you know what went into getting mine to work so I tend to see LSA into anything as "Easy"

so much development that they run the same oil in the auto trans and the diff and then run it into a cooler.

    not very smart imo

Yea but its all about economics if the oil is good enough then that will do might not be the best though

Ag vehicles have been doing that for decades and I'd say their stress level would be a bit higher then idling in traffic or a 13 sec blast .

Awesome value for money seeing a ls3 is about 8k. Looks like it comes with all the accessories as well. Even if it doesn't ls3, l98 and l77/6 ones line up. Could sell the original for 4k easy then have blown engine with a bottom end that is built for it 6 or 7k if u did the spanner work yourself.

Yep good enough. But not the best. Using a specific oil would require extra cost in logistics supplying it to dealerships for servicing.

The automatic and differential are separate systems running different oils. Not sure where you get this info from. My tractor does use the same fluid including the loader and power steering. Doesn't have 430kW though. About 400 less .

latest perth street car mentioned it. possibly a stuff up on the journo's behalf but it had pictures of what looked like steel cooler lines from the diff the transmission.

VF HSV LSA Into Older Commodore eg>VY ss

Any more info (or threads) on approx costs to get a LSA into a VT-VZ Commodore?

As I'm trying to work out if I get a Maggie 1900 and a more blower friendly cam (something like a 224/230 114LSA cam to replace my current 220/220 581 112LSA cam) or get the LSA. But if the LSA conversion will cost $20K+, I'll just stick with option 1 (Maggie & cam)

Just get maggie and cam its easier and cheaper in the end. At the end of the day the height issue of the LSA blower is going to cause you dramas and if you have to pull the LSA blower off and use something else to get it to work whats the point.

Ah that's right, I forgot about the height issue. Sounds like the Maggie & cam are the way to go.
Thanks heaps for your reply offshore.

    Thanks mate
Do you know what's included in the package? I'm from NSW so the deal wouldn't apply to me, however it will give me a good idea of conversion costs
