There is very limited money left in the kitty, i believe they have done exactly what the V8 community want and produced the the best performing Holden EVER! They have also fitted a bi-modal exhaust with two modes. What more does one want from a car produced to satisfy an ever diminishing market? If you're not a fan then spend your money on a hi-po Euro and bearing in mind it'll cost you 3 times the price for the same performance.

    Yep

$350 option for brembos(must be fronts only) lots will be ticking that option
    239/247 goodness............

Smooth is one way to describe him , I know Tim well as we both fight for the same club. Actually you will see and hear my ute tomorrow for its new tow pack , I told Tim to pick the most sober worker to cut the bar.

Shame the ute didn't get the same rear LED tail light treatment as the wagon.

Mmm those cutouts can be tricky for some, just make sure the person who does it don't try and chew it out with their teeth.

You'd be surprised. I bought my VY Clubby used with a towbar and removed it/had the bar plastic welded due to incompetent members of staff at Zupps' poor fitment. It literally looked like they drilled lots of little holes to form the hole and punched it out.

Yes poor workmanship makes me cringe, I'm not claiming to be perfect but if you F@%& it fix it.

can hear it, final drive ratio change

Helping those acceleration figures are revised final drives, which change from 3.45:1 in the manual to 3.72, and from 2.92:1 to 3.45 in the automatic.

Red Hot Redline in manual ordered.

We'll finalise options etc once firm pricing details are available.

I'm disappointed the Mazda bum hasn't been fixed and it would have been nice to hear about some more tech, but overall surely they've given what's been asked? More power - tick, More aggressive styling - tick, better brakes - optional but nonetheless tick, more V8 noise - tick, less Camry/Mazda rear - oops. Overall pretty reasonable.

Now the launch itself, on the other hand, blows. Fancy coming out with a new model and not talking about it very much but talk heaps about the forthcoming 24 other models. We're so passionate about this new VF2, we're gonna tell you about all the other cool stuff we have planned. yeah right.

I agree mate, some great upgrades, and things like exhaust are easily fixed (who on here has a stock exhaust). The VF arse end though is another matter and not that easy to rectify unfortunately
