    VF HSV Rear brake question

Can someone answer this for me?

On a VF R8... If a certain type of wheel I wanted, fits on the standard SSV rear but not the rear of the Clubsport because of the dish, could I swap the R8 rear disk and caliper to an SSV one? Yes I know there will be people that will suggest your making it less effective at stopping but the SSV still uses it. All I want to know is if its possible or would it throw all kinds of ABS faults etc?

Its basically the caliper that's the issue I think.

what you going to about the front then?
Wheel fitment issues on HSVs mainly happen at the front

I can fit an old VE SSv 19" wheel on the back of my Gen-F R8 ( which I thought I could use as a proper spare)
but it wont go on the front...

I have an 17" Spacesaver in the Tonner, if I get a flat in the front I'll need to swap a rear on then put the spacesaver on the rear for the same reason.

.. which is a right royal PITA when you are on the roadside in the rain with their shitty jack!

and exactly why I went and got a proper 'fits all 4 corners' HSV spare for the Tourer

No the wheels are a staggered fitment. They will fit over the front however the rears have dish on them and wont fit over the calliper. They do however fit over a standard SSV calliper.
