Common practice in China to literally bribe journalists to only write good things about BYD cars. Even worse, they can be sued for writing anything that's not positive!

Apparently the "bribery" side of things is common in China due to the government involvement in everything but now as they expand into Western markets that approach is following too. Be wary!

Seems a very balanced video reporting on a disturbing trend. Obviously there are cases where we've long suspected stuff along similar lines over the years but this is blatant and not only a standard business approach with Chinese manufactured vehicles (and other goods) but condoned.

Seriously, have seen Jayemm's YouTube channel a few times

I think hes a bit of a wierd nerd (like many YouTubers) but the vid looks very honest and factual & I am confident that he is telling the truth.



I think it's pretty messed up that a car company would bully, pay and manipulate the media into getting good reviews.

I certainly would not want to buy anything with their badge.

Is anyone surprised by this? Nope, this is the SOP for China and the CCP these days - they are bullies, hypocrites and manipulative wankers!

And this country and our consumers just bend over and accept it. Of all the dangers in this world, this IMHO , is one of the most clear and present - and our beloved leader doesn't think they pose a threat!!!

We have Chinese 'Police' in this country monitoring and harassing and doing exactly as is described in this Vid.

Personally, I will do my utmost best to NOT buy anything that is made in China (it's Frik'n hard too!) - I will never own a electric car and I sure as hell would never own one from this country!!!

Don't trust ANYTHING that comes out of this country (especially electronics, cars or food!) ......... they are a like a disease and wish us no good will!

They are NOT our friends and sure as hell are not our allies!

Sorry for my rant but it does my head in how we have let ourselves become so dependent on a Nation or indeed industry like this - all for the sake of saving a few bucks ........... Pffffft wake up Aussies.
