What springs are in them from the factory? You don't see all the new Gen F GTS owners racing out to swap their springs... I'd like to think they learnt from the Callaway days!
LSA has been around for a long time now. Valve spring on standard boost are fine
Jesus I wish these were that price when I was looking to do my blower. I could have sold the L98 and come out with so much more money in my pocket![]()
Even though I have seen the advert I can't help but think there might be some sort of error.
You can pay more than that for just a blower on it's own.
That price just sounds too good to be true.
Wow thats good value.
Does anyone know if the LSA has piston squirters or is that only on the LS9?
Bloody good value its less than a harrop blower install. Id be tempted to get it for my redline but its the wrong time for me got some other things I have to do.

Ive been looking into this as well, I'm building a ls3 for a my vu and thinking it would be a option down the track. However due to different offset of the pulleys would have to swap all the accessories. In an older model im not sure if the aircon compressor from a newer engine (e38 pcm) could be controlled by the ls1 computers
Seems like a great deal compared to an LS3 crate motor. But I wonder if it'd need supporting cooling improvements, considering how much development HSV & GM put into cooling for the GTS. Could be good value if put into a new R8, would work out much cheaper than a new GTS.
wow, so tempting , but I'm thinking all the other things you need to put it in an VY will bite.
In a VE very tempting.
and hey if you had A HSV 6.3 would you be able to just bolt on the good bit from the LSA or are they just different enough to make it annoying.
and just exactly how many of these thing did they make to have a surplus or aren't GTS's selling ?
it is interesting that they are the HSV specific version apparently as well (FWIW).
I have word that there will be an SA based aftermarket supplier who will be stocking these engines as well shortly![]()
